The City of Hercules, the  City of Pinole and
  the Pinole Creek Demonstration Project have
  announced the Chelsea Wetlands Restoration Project.
  The project offers opportunities for flood protection,
  habitat enhancement, and recreation along
  Pinole Creek and Chelsea area.

  This project results from the collaborative efforts of the
  Cities of Hercules and Pinole, the Contra Costa County
  Flood Control and Water Conservation District, and
  the Friends of Pinole Creek Watershed. Public
  participation is critical to the success of this effort.
