New Dog Park to Open in Hercules January 2009 at Refugio Valley Road and Falcon Way

    Our proposal was to outline the minimum requirements for the establishment of one pilot dog park site within  
    the existing City of Hercules Parks and Recreation Department (City) property. A dog park is a clearly defined
    location where dog owners can safely and legally exercise and socialize their dogs off-leash. The proposal
    was submitted by the Friends of Hercules and accepted by the City.   Funding was received by Nelson Ovila,
    who is contemplating the addition of at least one dog park in the western side of town.
